No trains in the village
No trains stop in the village. If you want to catch one, you first have to get to Heemstede or Haarlem, which is why, for an early flight, it pays to book a taxi in advance.

The fixed price applies to a taxi for up to four passengers; with a minibus for up to eight it is €82.50. A return trip is two rides, so €125 there and back by taxi and €165 by minibus.
Vogelenzang €62.50, Overveen €60, Velserbroek €65
The same fare applies from Aerdenhout, Bennebroek, Bentveld, Bloemendaal and Spaarndam. One step down our price list is Overveen at €60, one step up is Velserbroek at €65. The whole list runs from €52.50 for Hoofddorp and Vijfhuizen to €80 for Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee; from Haarlem, where we are based, it is €55.
From Vogelenzang to Rotterdam and Eindhoven
Rotterdam The Hague Airport costs €150 from Vogelenzang by taxi and €215 by minibus, Eindhoven Airport €325 and €420. To Düsseldorf and Weeze the fare is the same across our whole area: €515 and €395 by taxi.
