26.3 km · 25 minutes to Schiphol
On the north side of the Noordzeekanaal, right next to Beverwijk: the only part of Velsen on that side of the water. There is no station, and on the way you go under the canal.
Velsen-Zuid
24 km · 22 minutes to Schiphol
On the south side of the canal, between the locks and Spaarnwoude. No station of its own; the nearest is Driehuis. Of all the parts of Velsen, it has the quickest ride to the terminal.

Velsen-Noord and Velsen-Zuid each have their own fare. Velsen-Zuid pays €67.50 to Schiphol for a taxi for up to four passengers, Velsen-Noord €72.50. For a minibus for up to eight it is €87.50 and €92.50. So from Velsen-Noord you pay €5 more than from Velsen-Zuid.
