By the sea, with no station
IJmuiden is on the coast, by the locks where the Noordzeekanaal (the North Sea Canal) meets the sea, and by the ferry port. There is no station in the town, and early in the morning there is little public transport.
From the boat to the plane
We drive throughout the town, including to the harbour and the ferry terminal. If you are arriving by boat and need to go on to the airport, agree a time with us when you book.

The ride to Schiphol is 27.4 kilometres and takes 29 minutes without delays. With no station, every journey from here starts by bus or by car.

For eight passengers, or there and back
The fixed price applies to a taxi for up to four passengers; with a minibus for up to eight it is €92.50. A return trip is two rides, so €145 there and back by taxi and €185 by minibus.
IJmuiden €72.50, Zandvoort €70, Heemskerk €80
The same fare applies from Velsen-Noord. One step down our price list is Zandvoort at €70, one step up is Heemskerk at €80. The whole list runs from €52.50 for Hoofddorp and Vijfhuizen to €80 for Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee; from Haarlem, where we are based, it is €55.
From IJmuiden to Rotterdam and Eindhoven
Rotterdam The Hague Airport costs €200 from IJmuiden by taxi and €265 by minibus, Eindhoven Airport €350 and €445. To Düsseldorf and Weeze the fare is the same across our whole area: €515 and €395 by taxi.

From IJmuiden, HTC Haarlemse Taxicentrale drives to the airport at a fixed price. What you pay to Schiphol depends only on the vehicle: a taxi for one to four passengers, or a minibus for five to eight. We also drive to Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Eindhoven Airport; those fares are in the table.
The fare from IJmuiden falls between our lowest, €52.50, and our highest, €80. The same fare applies from Velsen-Noord. From Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee, the ride costs €80.
A ride to Driehuis station or to the Rode Kruis Ziekenhuis and back is just as much a part of our service.
