Heemstede borders Haarlem to the south; on the street you can hardly tell where the city ends and the village begins. To Schiphol you pay the same here as in the city: €55.
Closer, but not quicker
At 17.7 kilometres, Heemstede is closer to the airport than the centre of Haarlem (19.4 km). Even so, the ride takes 24 minutes without delays, compared with 22 from Haarlem: the first part is not on the motorway.
No direct train to Schiphol
Heemstede-Aerdenhout station is on the edge of the village, and there is no direct train to Schiphol from there. With us you get in once, at your front door, and out again outside the departure hall.
On the border with Aerdenhout
Heemstede and Aerdenhout share the station, but not the fare: a taxi to Schiphol costs €62.50 from Aerdenhout and €55 from Heemstede. If you live on the border, give us your street; we will tell you the fare before you book.

Within Heemstede, to the station or to Haarlem
Not every ride goes to the airport. We also drive to Haarlem and within the village itself, for example from De Glip to Binnenweg or from Groenendaal to Oude Dorp. A ride like that is charged by the meter, which never goes above the maximum fares the government sets each year.
If you would still rather take the train to Schiphol, we will take you to the station. Bear in mind that from Heemstede-Aerdenhout, and from Haarlem too, you have to change trains along the way.
Travelling with someone from Haarlem
If you are travelling with family or a colleague who lives in Haarlem, you do not need to book two rides. An extra pick-up address in a neighbouring town costs €13.50 per ride, an extra stop within Heemstede itself €8.50.
Give us both addresses when you book, so that the pick-up time and the price are right. The fixed fare to Schiphol stays the same; the surcharge is added to it.
For an early-morning flight
We drive seven days a week, day and night. We agree the pick-up time with you in advance: we work back from your departure time, allowing for the 24 minutes the ride takes without delays, and for longer in the rush hour. If you would like to be picked up on your return, give us your flight number; if your flight is delayed, the pick-up time moves with it.
Paying in the car
You pay in the car: in cash, by debit card or by credit card. Every car has a card terminal and paying by debit card is free; paying by credit card adds €3 for every €100 of the fare, or part thereof. You get a receipt, and if you are travelling for work, the ride can also be put on account.
For eight passengers, or there and back
The fixed price applies to a taxi for up to four passengers; with a minibus for up to eight it is €75. A return trip is two rides, so €110 there and back by taxi and €150 by minibus.
Heemstede €55, Vijfhuizen €52.50, Hillegom €60
The same fare applies from Cruquius, Haarlem, Halfweg, Zwaanshoek and Zwanenburg. One step down our price list is Vijfhuizen at €52.50, one step up is Hillegom at €60. The whole list runs from €52.50 for Hoofddorp and Vijfhuizen to €80 for Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee; from Haarlem, where we are based, it is €55.
From Heemstede to Rotterdam and Eindhoven
Rotterdam The Hague Airport costs €170 from Heemstede by taxi and €235 by minibus, Eindhoven Airport €325 and €420. To Düsseldorf and Weeze the fare is the same across our whole area: €515 and €395 by taxi.

What you pay to Schiphol depends only on the vehicle: a taxi for one to four passengers, or a minibus for five to eight. We also drive to Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Eindhoven Airport; those fares are in the table.
The fare from Heemstede falls between our lowest, €52.50, and our highest, €80. The same fare applies from Cruquius, Haarlem, Halfweg, Zwaanshoek and Zwanenburg. From Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee, the ride costs €80.
