Behind the dunes
Aerdenhout lies behind the edge of the dunes, between Zandvoort and Heemstede. Wide avenues, plenty of greenery and a driveway in front of almost every house.
The station is called Heemstede-Aerdenhout
The station on the edge of the village is called Heemstede-Aerdenhout. If you are going to the airport from there, you have to change trains along the way — and with suitcases, that is the awkward part of the journey.
Same station, different fare
It is twenty-three kilometres to the terminal, and twenty-eight minutes without delays. Aerdenhout shares its station with Heemstede, but not its fare, which is higher here because the ride is longer.

The fixed price applies to a taxi for up to four passengers; with a minibus for up to eight it is €82.50. A return trip is two rides, so €125 there and back by taxi and €165 by minibus.

The same fare applies from Bennebroek, Bentveld, Bloemendaal, Spaarndam and Vogelenzang. One step down our price list is Overveen at €60, one step up is Velserbroek at €65. The whole list runs from €52.50 for Hoofddorp and Vijfhuizen to €80 for Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee; from Haarlem, where we are based, it is €55.
From Aerdenhout to Rotterdam and Eindhoven
Rotterdam The Hague Airport costs €180 from Aerdenhout by taxi and €245 by minibus, Eindhoven Airport €325 and €420. To Düsseldorf and Weeze the fare is the same across our whole area: €515 and €395 by taxi.

What you pay to Schiphol depends only on the vehicle: a taxi for one to four passengers, or a minibus for five to eight. We also drive to Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Eindhoven Airport; those fares are in the table.
The fare from Aerdenhout falls between our lowest, €52.50, and our highest, €80. The same fare applies from Bennebroek, Bentveld, Bloemendaal, Spaarndam and Vogelenzang. From Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee, the ride costs €80.
