Vijfhuizen lies in the Haarlemmermeer, between Haarlem and the airport. There is no station, but it does have the exhibition grounds and the Haarlemmermeerse Bos.

Living close to the airport has one drawback: nothing runs at night. If you check in at six, you have to leave by car, and then only a taxi at your door will do.

For eight passengers, or there and back
The fixed price applies to a taxi for up to four passengers; with a minibus for up to eight it is €72.50. A return trip is two rides, so €105 there and back by taxi and €145 by minibus.
Vijfhuizen has the lowest airport fare of the 30 towns
Of the 30 towns for which we charge a fixed airport fare, €52.50 is the lowest. The same fare applies from Hoofddorp. Above that, the fares start to rise: Cruquius pays €55, Haarlem €55, and on the far side of our area Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee pay €80.
From Vijfhuizen to Rotterdam and Eindhoven
Rotterdam The Hague Airport costs €170 from Vijfhuizen by taxi and €235 by minibus, Eindhoven Airport €325 and €420. To Düsseldorf and Weeze the fare is the same across our whole area: €515 and €395 by taxi.

From Vijfhuizen, HTC Haarlemse Taxicentrale drives to the airport at a fixed price. What you pay to Schiphol depends only on the vehicle: a taxi for one to four passengers, or a minibus for five to eight. We also drive to Rotterdam The Hague Airport and Eindhoven Airport; those fares are in the table.
Vijfhuizen is in our lowest price band. The same fare applies from Hoofddorp. From Heemskerk and Wijk aan Zee, the ride costs €80.
We pick up anywhere in Vijfhuizen: Stellinghof and Nieuwebrug. The fare is the same throughout Vijfhuizen.
