This is the ride we do most often. Haarlem is nineteen kilometres from the terminal, and without delays the journey takes just over twenty minutes.
We pick up anywhere in the city: the centre inside the old canal ring just as readily as Schalkwijk or the outer districts. The fare is the same everywhere in Haarlem.
The route goes around Amsterdam, not through it; you approach the airport from the south.

The fare
What you see in advance is what you pay
There is no meter running. From Haarlem it is €55 by taxi and €75 by minibus, per ride, for one pick-up or drop-off point. That fare then stays the same, even if you get stuck in traffic or your flight lands later than planned.
- For short-notice rides (within 24 hours) the metered fare applies.
- On public holidays the fixed fares do not apply. We still drive, but agree the price with you in advance.
- For a minibus, the fares for 5 to 8 passengers apply.
- For a return trip (to and from the airport) you pay per ride.
- We accept Mastercard, Visa and American Express. Paying by credit card adds €3 per €100 of the fare or part thereof; paying by debit card is free. After payment you will receive a receipt for your records.

Four things you will want to know beforehand, and that you can tell us about when you book.
Paying in the car
Cash, debit card or credit card. Every vehicle has a card machine, and paying by debit card is free. For a credit card we charge a fee: €3 on fares up to €100, and another €3 for every further €100. You will be given a receipt.
Child seats
We have them, at €12.50 per seat, per ride. When you book, tell us how many children are travelling and how old they are, and the seat will be ready in the car. If you bring your own seat, there is no extra charge.
How many passengers
A taxi takes four passengers, a minibus eight. If there are more of you, we send two vehicles; just give us a call and we will work out the price for you.

From Haarlem station you take the train via Amsterdam Sloterdijk; with one suitcase that is manageable. The difference lies in the luggage and the time of day: with three suitcases, or at four in the morning, a taxi beats a station platform. We drive day and night.

You do not need to let us know: we track your flight number, and if you land later, the driver comes later. The delay costs you nothing extra, and after landing you have 45 minutes' free waiting time.
Where does the driver pick me up at Schiphol for the ride to Haarlem?
Upstairs at Departure Hall 2, exit F. After baggage reclaim, go up one floor, through the revolving door and across the zebra crossing to the outer lane; that is where the car pulls up.
